Urban Quotient
The office of Samir S. Shah, Architect

This graphic identity was derived from the mathematical definition of quotient: the result obtained by dividing one quantity by another. The standard division symbol is used as a framework that dictates the placement of type. ("The office of Samir S. Shah, Architect," becomes the result.) A monospace font, which has equal distance between letterforms regardless of their width, was chosen due to its relationship to numerals being vertically aligned in basic math operations.
