CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM ST. LOUIS
Thomas Lanigan-Schmidt's colorful mixed-media assemblages are imbued with a baroque sensibility. In keeping with the degraded, multi-layered aesthetic, a process-oriented approach was adopted for the design of this flyer that involved cutting and pasting text by hand, scanning the results, then printing and manipulating the output once again. After several rounds of manipulation, the end result was colorized with flat fields of complimentary pink and green.
